Why Nokia Using WP7, Not Android

Many people have questioned why Nokia would prefer to use Windows Phone 7 (WP7), from the Android?

At Qualcomm Uplinq conference in San Diego, California, United States (U.S.), Stephen Elop as Nokia CEO said the firm had deliberately avoided Android because it has a lot of vendors who use it.

"There is an opportunity to create a third ecosystem. And this will be our capital to move forward, "Elop said as quoted by Cnet, Friday (3/6/2011).

According to him, today there are many companies that use Android for their products. Everything is innovative and exciting and will be hard to stand out among them.

"With Microsoft and WP7, Nokia had a chance to make their own names and devices must follow the rules rather than Android," he added.

Moreover, Nokia currently holds exclusive rights WP7 can also feel more free to make innovations that distinguish it in the Nokia operating system with the other phones.

As we all know, Nokia is rumored revenues continue to decline to reap the various criticisms that plagued the Finnish vendor. The critics even mentioned the Nokia would be better if you choose WP7.

Previously, Intel is disappointed because MeeGo ignored, never mentions that the reason one of the reasons Nokia choose WP7 is related to financial reasons.
