Prison Guard Robot From South Korea

Maybe now the state of South Korea are beginning steps to implement the robot technology in several areas that are normally performed by humans. Having previously they produce robots cinema ticket sellers, some time ago they had just experimented with a prison guard robot.

This robot was developed under the supervision of the Ministry of Law of South Korea. Robots are designed to oversee these detainees, just tested for one month at a prison in the town of Pohang, southeast of Seoul. Equipped with motion sensors, cameras, height 150 cm and the legs on wheels, the robot is expected to oversee detainee gestures more effectively. This robot is also designed to operate well at night in a state little light.
